Ooooh, I just thought of another book you might like- "Lamb- the gospel according to Biff" by Christopher Moore, it was great!
Of course I am a heathen who kind of likes to make fun of religion, you are probably to pious to enjoy it!
I loaned out my copy (damn, who has it??) but you can probably find it somewhere!

Yeah, I have a strong heart for The Lord. I don't like it when modern authors reimagine the childhood of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The (error free) Holy Bible has already done an awesome job of telling us everything we need to know about Jesus. In His name, thnxkbye.
